Imagine if this was your life.Today I ask you to use your imagination, put yourself into someone elses shoes for a minute.
Imagine that you wake up and think, "it's Christmas morning", then remeber all those pictures you've seen of the rich westerners who will eat more food in this one day than your whole family will eat in a whole year. As you get out of bed you remember that you used the last of the water yesterday and clean water is a 6 mile hike through the desert and the buckets are so heavy. On the way home the same things run through your mind as every day, where will I find food for my children today as your stomach groan because the pictures of that feast just won't leave your head and yesterdays thin soup just didn't still you hunger. You dream about sending your children to school some day, though you don't know where food would come from if they couldn't go beg each morning and you can't even be certain that they'll live through the night, they're so thin and the water isn't really clean. Ever since your husband was taken away to be a soldier in the rich mans army life has been incredibly hard. Here's a short video for a taste! We take our luxuries for granted every single day! We don't think when we take a shower every morning how much water is wasted. Our days are filled with making money to buy even more luxury and we don't even have 2 minutes to spare for the poor who don't have any other option. It's time for a change and the club begs you to be a part of it. Take off your blinders and look around. The truth only hurts until you become a part of the answer.

Equal rights on all levels is the goal. When I was young I heard a saying referring to a mans wife as his "better half",
today as a married man I know that my wife isn't my better half, just my other half. What I mean is that I'd be lost without her, becuase what I lack is her strength and I do things well which she can't. Neither of us is worth or deserving of more. Minus her I'm half, plus her I'm whole! We really are a team! The Bible says it, the Quran says it, the Torah says it, most religions agree, both men and women were created equally in the image of God. Discriminating against any person based on their sex is a form of slavery. To keep someone "in their place", to believe you are better than that person, IS WRONG. As in any of the SDGs, I could give you 50 reasons against the continuation of this descrimination, but can find no real purpose in continuing it, other than to keep men above women. Plain and simple, as long as men feel more important than women, it will continue. I call to the Zero Hunger Generation, I ask you to look at the reasoning with your eyes open. No human being deserves to be owned, bought or sold! All humans were created equally in the image of God! No human deserves to be treated worse than another! Violence against women can never be seen as OK! Every human deserves the same pay for the same job! Have you ever seen someone in this situation and accepted it as right? Just because it's the way it's always been, does not make it right. Women are just as deserving of equality as men! This is the purpose of the SDGs, to show you what is right and what is wrong. If you are a human, then all other humans are equal to you. Period! The club needs your help, spread the word asap. This text sums it up better than I possibly could.
