This page is devoted to kids of all ages, shapes and sizes.
This is your call to action!
You are invited!
The United Nations has issued a worldwide challenge!
We wish to provide some incentive, to make the challenge fun,
we've added a short term goal, one more reachable,
along the path to the main goal in 2030.
The Global Goals Club
announces a target of 1 January 2020!
The challenge begins today, ending with an open vote to be conducted during the month of January 2020, awards to be announced on 1 June 2020.
We ask you to understand that there will be no monetary awards!
We hope sponsors will come forward to provide an incentive,
but the goal is to end hunger, poverty and pollution not to increase wealth.
We hope the best ideas will be funded through your solidarity fee,
donations or through existing charities, for distribution to the poor.
This isn't a competition, you compete against no one!
It's a challenge issued by the United Nations to all of humanity and we offer you a chance to play a part in reaching those goals.
In order to reach the goal of Zero Hunger by 2030 an amazing amount of work needs to be done and it's not doing itself.
Someone must do something, we're offering you the chance to be one of many someones!
Please distribute the invitation to everyone you know! Talk to each other, use the social media for what it does best.
Most importantly, use WIKI's to find help, to publish your own topics and to help others reach their goal.
Challenge guidelines:
1) Team work, if you're good alone, you're better in a team. We ask that all projects be done as a team to allow as many experts as possible the chance to shine. The team can be spread across the planet!
2) Publish, talk openly about what you're doing! Advertise a list of skills you need filled within your team, include young people and teach them new skills. Experts are asked to find answers for openly posted questions, if you've blogged your project you increase the chance of finding help, even from across the world. We encourage social network teamwork to increase your chances of success. Educate others and allow them to benefit from you, while the team benefits from them!
3) All projects should be documented within a reputed WIKI or made public through YouTube. We would have chosen Wikipedia, but they told us it didn't belong there. This is our reason for nominating Appropedia for the purpose, it's 10 years old and has a goal in line with ours, sustainability. There are many others, choose the most appropriate for your topic and yell it out so others can join you.
We won't put restrictions on which wiki you use, we only ask that all entries be done in English, though multilingual is welcome.
4) The avoidance of cost is an absolute priority! Price lists should be included for all parts used within your project, a link to where it can be purchased, or a description of how to make it should be included. Businesses are asked for donations to support the projects, but we aren't asking you for money, but your products and expertise.
All monetary donations should go to the WFP, clearly marked "The Club"
5) Governments, schools and businesses, are asked to make resources available for the projects to begin the search!
Schools, universities and clubs are asked to support projects in any way they can, offer classes or build entire teams.
We will especially need project leaders who can provide guidance, support and expertise,
To help you get started!
The following link goes to our founders wiki page, here you'll find an example of how modern tech automated a simple garden.
The Global Goals club WIKI!
After the garden, the wiki includes a list, including examples and project ideas.
The list does not stop there, your imagination and hobby are what we need now.
3d printing, computer automation and recycling are all relevant to the challenge.
We ask young people to join in!
We could give you 50 reasons why you should accept the challenge, but hope that the 17 are enough. If we don't take control of our earth soon we're going to be in trouble. Many say we're killing the earth, but it's not true. The earth existed long before humans arrived, it will go on long after we've poisoned or starved ourselves out of existence.
If we can document how to produce food, at minimal costs, we'll not only eliminate hunger from the face of the earth,
but ensure that the lessons learned are not lost to the future.
We want our childrens childrens children to have a resource which we didn't have, free and open to all.
It looks as though they're going to need it.
The club asks you to join! Feel free to use our contact form for questions or comments.
Most of all, please share a link to us with your friends, the world needs every single one of you.

What's expected of you? You know the goal, find a project which needs help!
If you don't have an idea for a project, join a team which has already begun work.
Look at the 17 goals and at existing projects, find a way that you can help.
In this site you'll find examples of smart people, I'm certain all of them need help,
but more will come as the idea spreads. Watch our blog for new info!
Your project doesn't have to have anything to do with gardens!
You may believe you are too small, too young, or too weak to help, but you have the power to change the world.
Power is in numbers, we're offering you a chance to help us achieve the impossible;
the elimination of hunger and poverty from the face of the earth within our life times.
One last thought:
Eating is a human right, making a profit is not!
The best things in life are free, rid yourself of time wasters and be the light at the end of someones tunnel.
The smile on the face of a child is worth more than gold can ever give.
